Today was good business-wise - got a call from a rather high-budget professional ensemble in London who want to do all 3 weeks of the Edinburgh Fringe. Needless to say, much profit is involved, and they can afford to pay it all because they have lots of sponsorship. Ethical capitalism, yay!
Spent a few hours also photocopying and handing out music for the university orchestra; being an orchestral librarian is highly demoralising. I'm quitting that after this coming concert, thankfully.
Every time I get a spam email saying "start your own business", I smirk broadly.
Still have ridiculous to-do list, hopefully getting a good night's sleep tonight will enable me to get through it. Zzzzzz.
Topic for debate: is there such a thing as ethical capitalism?
